With over 20 years of business law experience, I bring a powerful blend of commercial insight, legal expertise, and entrepreneurial spirit to help growing businesses in Aotearoa, New Zealand achieve more.

My career journey spans both local and international roles, including corporate and commercial teams at large law firms, in-house positions at iconic Kiwi businesses, and time in boutique practices. I’ve supported businesses at every stage and across diverse industries, from startups to large global corporations.

I became curious about how innovation, technology and legal design could revolutionise the stubbornly traditional legal industry. Driven by a mission to make legal support easier for Kiwi SMEs, I co-founded a legal tech platform in 2023, On Your Terms. This experience gave me firsthand insight into the commercial realities faced by start-ups and small businesses.

Before starting Luminate Legal, I spoke with businesses just like yours to better understand what they really needed from their legal partner. The result is a new kind of legal business - one that combines sharp, top-tier legal thinking with modern technology, innovative practices, responsiveness, empathy, and transparent pricing.

Outside of work, I’m a mum to three beautiful and energetic kids and can often be found on the sidelines of a sports field, coffee in hand. Family life, delightfully chaotic, has sharpened my skills in juggling priorities, creative problem-solving, and the value of clear communication!
